I am a writer who dabbles across some of the genres that I love to read. They include Speculative Fiction, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Steampunk, Mystery, and even some Horrors. I am also a Teacher, Reviewer, and bibliophile that enjoys any story that is well told. I’ve successfully pursued a degree in English Education with a Creative Writing minor, have been a member of Sigma Tau Delta, the International English Honors Society, since 2010 and have taught and tutored in my pursuit of great story-telling. My passion for writing began when I was in middle school and I devoured dime store SF/F novels as fast as I could afford them.
One day, after finishing one of those SF/F novels, I responded, “God, that ending stunk.” My father, in a not-so-serious tone, said, “If you didn’t like it – rewrite it the way you think it should be.” While I think he was just trying to encourage me to write more, I was hooked! I started rewriting endings, then chapters, and finally whole novels. I realized then what I know now…Great Writers – Read. Now, a few decades have passed and my abilities have improved I found myself wanting to share my stories.
This site is my attempt to realize that desire. I also love movies and reading so I’ll be posting reviews of books and movies along with whatever else strikes my fancy.
This site is my path to getting my writing into the hands of those kindred spirits that share a love of these wonderful and exciting genres. I’m not looking to make millions (although I’m not going to turn it down) my focus is on getting my stories published. Indie or Traditional ~ the vehicle is not important. What is important to me is that my readers enjoy reading my stories as much as I enjoyed writing them.
